Cleome droserifolia (Forssk.) Delile

General Appearance

Cleome droserifolia (Forssk.) Delile, it is a spreading low undershrub, 5-25 cm long, woody below, densely glandular hispid with alternate orbicular-petiolate simple leaves, 5-15 mm in diameter and with 3 conspicuous nerves. Flowers solitary axillary, c. 1 cm, across, yellow. Stamens 4, ± exserted with anthers ovate-oblong, apiculate, dorsifixed. Capsules ovoid-oblong, 8-12 mm long with ± equally long style, on ascending to somewhat spreading pedicels, densely glandular-hispid, many seeded; seeds c. 0.75 mm in diameter, glabrous, brown, with minutely granulate surface.
