Nonea micrantha Boiss. & Reut., it is a hispid annual or perennial, eglandular. Stem up to 10-40 cm. long, usually ascending, not much branched. Leaves lanceolate to oblong, lanceolate-acute to sub obtuse, 20-70 x 5-10 mm. Calyx c. 5 mm at anthesis, increasing, up to 8- 12 mm in fruit, usually very strongly inflated, teeth c. 1̸3 as long as the calyx tube. Corolla pale blue, 7-8 mm long, usually more deeply divided. Style included. Nutlets c. 1.5 x 3 mm, obliquely ovoid, asymmetrical, strongly ribbed.
