General Appearance
Lotus longisiliquosus R.Roem. / Heterotypic Synonyms: Lotus collinus (Boiss.) Heldr., it is a perennial, pubescent or glabrescent. Stems 15-35 cm, ascending or erect, branched. Leaflets 5-15 x 3-8 mm, obovate. Inflorescences with 2-5 flowers on peduncles 15-50 mm long (longer than the leaves) and with 3 bracteoles either longer or shorter than the calyx. Calyx bilabiate, with lateral teeth shorter than the others. Corolla 11-15 mm, yellow. Legume 30-55 x 2-3 mm, cylindrical, straight.
