Fumana arabica (L.) Spach

General Appearance

Fumana arabica (L.) Spach, t is a low shrub, diffusedly much branched, laxly caespitose, up to 25 cm long. Leaves 5-12 (-IS) x 1-5 mm, oblong-elliptic, alternate, exstipulate, acute, flat, scarcely diminishing in size above, glandular-pubescent; stipules short. Flowers (1-) 3-6 (-7) axillary, c. 2 cm in diam., forming a distinct, lax inflorescence. Capsules 6-8 mm, globular-ovoid, (6-) 8-12-seeded. Seeds small, reticulated.
