General Appearance
Fumana laevipes (L.) Spach it is a low shrub, much branched, laxly caespitose, up to 30 cm long with ascending, slender branches. Leaves alternate, linear-setaceous, sub terete, stipulate, bright green or glaucous, glabrous or with scattered glandular hairs, (3-) 4-8 x 0.3-0.4 mm. Flowers 3-8, terminal; pedicels much longer than the bracts, stigma, ascending. Capsules usually 6-seeded with widely patent valves.
