Flora

Euphorbia pterococca Brot., it is an erect annual herb, up to 30 cm tall, often with axillary rays below the terminal one (or branching above). Leaves exstipulate, alternate, oblong-obovate or spathulate, obtuse, serrulate, the lower shortly petiolate. Ray leaves like the cauline, Raylet leaves rhombic-ovate. Rays 5 (rarely more), trichotomous then dichotomous, slender. 10-20 mm long. Glands transversely ovate, without petaloid appendages. Capsules 1.5 mm. smooth, with 2 undulated wings on each valve. Seeds 1.3 mm, alveolate-reticulate, dark brown.
