General Appearance
Dichasianthus runcinatus (Lag. ex DC.) V.I.Dorof. / Homotypic Synonyms: Sisymbrium runcinatum Lag. ex DC., it is an annual herb, almost hairless. Stem reaching 1 meter, erect, branching. Lower leaves pinnately rooted. Pinnate leaves, with lobes reaching approximately. Upper leaves sessile, pinnatisect, with entire linear lobes. Flowers usually solitary in each axil, slightly longer, pale yellow, rather large. Sepals spreading. Petals 1.5 times longer than the calyx. Fruiting raceme long and loose, with short, thick pedicels. Siliques spreading, stiff, rather slender, hairless, valves with 3 veins. Seeds small, brown, smooth, in a single row.
