General Appearance

Convolvulus oxyphyllus Boiss., it is a thorny, dwarf, and somewhat hairy shrub reaching a height of 60 cm; its mature branches terminate in spines. The leaves are sessile, oblong-lanceolate with pointed tips, measuring 2.5 cm in length and 0.5 cm in width. The flowers are sessile or short-stalked, appearing singly or in clusters-either in the leaf axils or along the branches and are white, with a diameter of 1.5 cm.
