General Appearance

Convolvulus dorycnium L., it is a perennial, very branched, stems stiff, greenish silvery, with rounded section and few or no leaves, Leaves: alternate, small, lanceolate, almost sessile. Flowers: sessile flowers, very numerous, solitary at the end of the branches or at the branches, and carried by a long peduncle; light pink in color, the corolla having a diameter of 20 to 25 mm.  Sepals 3-5 mm, obtuse to distinctly emarginate, apiculate. Capsule, usually 4-seeded, 1- to 2-celled. Pollen grains, tricolpate; exine not spinose.
