Cistus parviflorus  Lam.

General Appearance

Cistus parviflorus Lam., it is a smaller, sub spreading shrub, up to 60 (-90) cm tall. Leaves ovate or ovate-elliptic, 10-30 mm long, grey-tomentose (whitish in appearance below) with short stellate hairs and long simple hairs, 3-parallel-veined in the lower half at least, entire, petiolate; petioles broad (like it sheath at least below). Cymes (1-) 2-5 (-6)-flowered, usually terminal, ± congested and symmetrical. Flowers pink, 2-3 cm in diameter; pedicels 5-10 mm. Sepals 5, equal, persistent, thick, densely hairy, entire at the base, shortly acuminate at apex. Stigmas sessile.
