General Appearance
Alyssum granatense Boiss. & Reut., it is an annual herb, up to 15 cm tall, mostly branched from the base, similar in appearance and whitish pubescence to the Alyssum montanum L., but annual, pedicels shorter to about as long as the siliculae and ascending. Sepals, c. 3 mm long. Petals 5 mm long. Style minute, usually less than a mm long. Fruit, siliculae suborbicular, 3-6 mm in diam., retuse at the apex, heterotrichous.

Wild in Libya, a rather N.W. species in Libya, confined to arid hills of Gebel Nafusa.
