Nonea vesicaria (L.) Rchb., it is a setose hispid, strongly glandular pubescent, annual or biennial, with ascending 15-30 cm tall stems, very little branched. Lower leaves spathulate, long petiolate. sometimes dentate below. Upper leaves lanceolate or linear lanceolate, subacute, 30-200 x 5-25 mm. Bracts foliaceous, longer than flowers, pedicel refracted after fruiting. Calyx 5-7 mm at anthesis, covered with long patent hairs, 10-15 mm in fruit, divided almost up to the base. Corolla 9-12 mm long, brownish purple, divided 1̸2 of its length, limb 3.5-4.5 mm in diameter, lobes wider than long. Stamens included. Nutles 3.5-4.5 mm, obliquely ovoid, strongly ribbed, constricted just above the strongly ribbed collar like basal ring.
