General Appearance
Echium horridum Batt., it is a hispid biennial or perennial herb, similar to the Echium humile Desf, but differs in being covered by spreading bulbous, based setae, (glabrous between the setae) and having elliptic to lanceolate leaves, attenuate at base, c. 50-150 x 3-7 mm. Corolla, blue, red, c. 20 mm long.
