General Appearance
Nasturtiopsis coronopifolia (Desf.) Boiss., it is an annual herb, up to 10-30 cm tall, branched, densely to sparsely pubescent. Leaves up to 5 cm long, deeply lobed, dentate to almost entire. Lower leaves obscurely petiolate. Upper leaves sessile; lobes narrow, ± oblong. Flowers yellow, c. 4 mm across, in racemes becoming lax in fruit. Pedicels 4-8 mm long in fruit, filiform, spreading. Sepals 1.5 mm long. Petals 3 mm long. Anther short, c. 1 mm on filiform, c. 3 mm long filaments. Siliquae 7-10 (-15) x 1.5-2 mm, usually up curved, dehiscent, many seeded; septum membranous. Seeds ± 2-seriate, 0.7 mm long, oblong-ellipsoid, brownish.
