General Appearance

Lonicera nummulariifolia Jaub. & Spach ,  it is an erect shrub, up to 9 mm tall, branches puberulent or glandular-hairy. Leaves opposite; petiole 1.5-3.5 mm long, hairy; lamina ovate, ovate-lanceolate to suborbicular, 1.5-5 x 0.7-3.5 cm, obtuse to mucronate, sparsely pubescent to villous, hairs eglandular. Inflorescence axillary, 2-flowered; peduncle 1-3 mm; bract c. 1 mm, linear-lanceolate. Bracteoles c. 1 mm long. Corolla pale cream to yellow, 10-20 mm long, pubescent; limb approximately twice the length of the tube. Berries paired, simple, blackish when dry.
