General Appearance
Notoceras bicorne (Aiton) Amo , it is an annual, spreading or ascending herb, up to 10-25 cm long, branched mostly from the base, hoary. Leaves 10-50 x 2-10 mm. Racemes 15-30-flowered, lax and elongating in fruit. Flowers c. 2 mm across, pale yellowish or dull white. Pedicels 1.5-2 mm long, thickened, erect, appressed. Sepals 1.5-2 nun long. Petals about as long or slightly longer than the sepals, narrowly spathulute. Stamens 1.2-1.5: 1.5-2 mm long. Siliquae 4-8 x 1.5-2 mm, appressedly hairy, rigid. with 2 apical horns, c. 1 mm long; style very small, persistent, with sub retuse and sub conical small stigma. Seeds 2-5 in each locule, ovoid, c. 1 mm long.
