Wildlife Conservation
Despite being largely desert, Libya boasts a rich diversity of terrestrial flora and fauna, encompassing a wide range of habitats. However, these interconnected ecosystems face increasing threats from various sources. Edama executes numerous projects and activities aimed at conserving Libya’s natural systems on both national and international levels. The organization also works to raise awareness and promote the adoption of comprehensive conservation standards aligned with local community development. Furthermore, Edama is dedicated to building the capacities of the next generation of environmental and conservation activists, ensuring the sustainability of these projects and activities.
