General Appearance

Micropus supinus L., it is an annual herb, up 2 -10 cm. Stems procumbent or ascending, rigid, branched from the base. Leaves 12-20 x 4-11 mm, obovate-spathulate, rounded to subacute, flat. Capitula 5-7 mm wide. Outer involucral bracts 1-I.2 mm, membranous. Inner involucral bracts 4-5, 5-8 mm in fruit, with densely appressed hairs; palea minute. Cypselas 2.3-2.5 x 1-1.3 mm, obliquely obovoid, pale-brown, shining.
