General Appearance
Logfia minima (Sm.) Dumort., it is an annual herb, greyish tomentose. Stem 5-15 (-30) cm. furcate. indumentum adpressed. Leaves 4-10 x 0.5-1.2 mm. oblong-linear to linear, flat. Capitula 3-7 in a cluster, terminal or in forks of the branches. not over-topped by the subtending leaves; each capitulum 2.5-3.5 x 1.5-2 mm, pyramidal-ovoid, 5-angled. Middle involucral bracts 2.5-3.5 x 0.8-1 mm. glabrous, slightly pouched at the base. Inner female florets 2.5 mm long, many. Hermaphrodite florets 3-5. 2.5 mm long. Cypselas of outer female florets 0.8-o.9 mm. those of inner florets o.5-o.6 mm; pappuse, 2 mm long.
