General Appearance
Ferulago lutea (Poir.) Grande / Homotypic Synonyms: Ferula lutea (Poir.) Maire, it is a perennial herb, tall, dark, green, up to 2 m. Stem angled, strongly sulcate. Leaves up to 60 cm long, triangular-ovate in outline, with short, linear lobes. Bracls and braeteoles usually lanceolate, conspicuous. Flowers yellow. Fruits 10-12 mm long, elliptic-oblong to narrowly obovate; dorsal ridges of fruit narrowly winged.
