General Appearance

Crepis sprengelii Nicotra / Homotypic Synonyms:  Crepis spathulata Guss., it is a perennial, very much like Crepis vesicaria L., but capitule 1-4, involucre 12-13 x5-7 mm, and the involucral bracts linear-lanceolate and canescent-tomentose with short glandular hairs and few, long, eglandular hairs, pubescent on the inner face. Cypsela 5.5 x0.75 mm, fusiform, gradually attenuate into a beak, 10-ribbed.
