General Appearance
Calendula tripterocarpa Rupr., it is an annual herb, in habit much like Calendula arvensis L., but usually more slender, smaller, branched and diffuse. Stems and leaves sparsely glandular-hairy and occasionally with appressed hairs. Leaves often sinuate margined. Capitula 5-10 (-12) mm in diam., orange or yellow, concolorous; ligules c. 10 mm. equalling or slightly exceeding the involueral bracts; cypselas mostly dimorphic; outer cypselas beakless, broadly3-winged.
