General Appearance
Anthemis glareosa E.A.Durand & Barratte , it is an annual herb, low-growing, small, adpressed hairy; hairs woolly and biramus. Stems numerous, 4-15 cm, procumbent to ± erect. Leaves pectinato-pinnatisect; lobes distant, linear, entire or 2-3 fid, acuto-mucronate; base of the petiole not dialated. Capitula 1-few per branch, 1-1.5 cm in diam., radiate, pedunculate. Peduncles (.5-) 1-1.5 (.2) cm, striate, not or weakly thickening below the fruiting capitulum. Receptacle conical. Involucre hemispherical; involucral bracts 2-3 rowed, with median nerve herbaceous, margins broadly scarious, pilose hirsute, dark brown or blackish. Outer involucral bracts ovate-acuminate. Inner ones oblong-obovate, obtuse, often black dotted above. Palea scarious; peripheral ones convex-carinate, oblong, obtuse; central ones oblong-obovate, weakly convex-carinate, obtuse, erose-dentate, reaching up to the constriction of the tube of the corolla. Marginal florets female, ligulate; basal tube compressed, laterally winged; ligule white, ovate, truncate lobed. Central florets hermaphrodite, tubular; tube glabrous, 5-toothed, constricted a little above the middle. Cypsela terete to obconical, innermost ones subtetragonous. 10-ribbed, peripheral ones unequally toothed coronate, inner ones auriculate; ribs tuberculate.
