General Appearance
Andryala integrifolia L., it is an annual herb, usually with a solitary stem up to 10-80 cm, sparingly or much branched in the upper parts. leafy throughout, golden-brown, densely hairy; hairs stellate and short, simple, eglandular, occasionally with few glandular hairs restricted in the upper parts. Leaves 20-80 x 3-30 mm, linear-oblong, oblanceolate or ovate, obtuse or acute entire to deeply sinuate-toothed or pinnatisect. Basel leaves usually attenuate in to short petiole. Cauline leaves sessile, semi-amplexicaule or not. Capitula 2 to numerous; peduncles densely hairy, sometimes a few long glandular hairs present. Involucre 7-11 x 5-10 mm; involucral bracts linear-lanceolate, obtuse to acute, often purple tipped. Florets yellow to orange. Cypsela 1-1.25 mm, dark brown with pale ribs.
