General Appearance

Podlechiella vogelii (Webb) Maassoumi & Kaz. Osaloo / Homotypic Synonyms: Astragalus vogelii (Webb) Bornm. it is a prostrate or sub erect annual herb, white-silky villous, with appressed hairs. Leaves 2-5 cm long, usually with 5-p pairs of leaflets; leaflets oblong-lanceolate, rounded at apex, 3-8 mm long, almost villous. Peduncles with (2-) 6-12-flowered racemes about as long as the subtending leaves. Calyx slightly shorter than corolla, white and black hairy; teeth shorter than tube. Pods turgid, oblong, membranous, c. 8 x 3-4 mm, appressed pilose.
