General Appearance

Silene arabica Boiss., it is an annual herb covered in glandular hairs, featuring stems that are simple or branched from the base and range from erect to ascending (reaching up to 25 cm in height). The leaves are small, sessile, and linear to lanceolate, measuring 2–3 cm in length and 0.3–5 cm in width. The flowers are arranged along one side of an indeterminate inflorescence; they are white, 1.3 cm wide, and have petals deeply cleft into two lips. The fruit is a capsule.
