Euphorbia spinosa L.

General Appearance

Euphorbia spinosa L., it is a small shrub, up to 30 cm high. Freely branched, with dead branches and umbel rays ± persistent but not pungent. Leaves 5-15 (-20) mm long, lanceolate or linear lanceolate, entire. Ray-leaves obovate, about as long as rays, yellowish. Rays 1-5, very short, each usually with one cyathium. Capsules 3-4 mm, usually with long (rarely Short) tubercles. Seeds 2-3 mm, smooth, brown.
