Ipomoea imperati (Vahl) Griseb. / Syn. Ipomoea stolonifera (Cirillo) J.F. Gmel.  it is a hemicryptophyte, spread along the ground to a distance of 22 m, trail over beach-head sand-dunes and serves as a sand-binder. Leaves succulent, alternate, ovate-cordate, entire, Flowers solitary, axillary,5-lobed calyx, corolla funnel-shaped, white with a yellow center. Fruits, capsule small round. 4 seeds, velvety, dark brown.
