General Appearance
Helianthemum stipulatum (Forssk.) C.Chr. it is a small multi-branched, herbaceous perennial shrub reaching a height of 15-40 cm. It has dense, elongated leaves (1-2.5 cm long and 0.2-0.5 cm wide) with margins that sometimes curl. The yellow flowers are 1 cm wide and sessile, arranged in an inflorescence containing 7-12 flowers. Sepals, 3-4 mm, stellate-pubescent, between and on the ribs, ciliate. Petals, as long as the sepals. Fruit is a rounded capsule.
