General Appearance

Glandora rosmarinifolia (Ten.) D.C.Thomas / Homotypic Synonyms: Lithodora rosmarinifolia (Ten.) I.M.Johnst., it is a caespitose dwarf shrub, up to 30-60 cm tall, with the older branches dark grey, younger appressed hairy. Leaves, 15-40 (-60) mm long, linear to lanceolate, acute or sub obtuse, olive green, rigid, sparcely setulose to glabrous above, densely greyish appressed setose beneath, setae patent at the margin and with a strongly revolute margin. Calyx elliptic lanceolate, 6-7 mm long with white appressed setae.  Corolla blue-pink, setulose outside, tube c. 12 mm long with a limb c. 17 mm in diameter with rounded lobes. Stamens included, anthers oblong, c. 2 mm long. Stigma capitate, exserted, rarely included. Nutlets whitish smooth.
