Helichrysum lacteum Coss. & Durieu
General Appearance
Helichrysum lacteum Coss. & Durieu, it is a perennial plant, up to 10-40 cm tall, caespitose; sterile branches usually with a rosette of leaves at the apex and sometime inflated, Leaves oblong or spathulate, white tomentose, those on the branches with capitula flexuous. Capitula globose, with peduncles c. 1cm, arranged in dense corymb, Involucral bracts silvery white, shining, erect and spreading at maturity, hairy at the base and equaling the florets. Florets all hermaphrodite.
