General Appearance

Anthemis kruegeriana Pamp. / Syn. Anthemis kruegeriana var. radiata Maire & Weiller,  it is an annual small, erect, adpressed. hairy, hairs woolly and biramus. Stems solitary to few, 3-6 cm long. Branched, erect. Leaves pinnatisect; lobes oblong-linear, distant, entire to rarely dentate, shortly mucronate; base of the petiole entire. Capitula 5-7 mm in diam., discoid or radiate, pedunculate. Peduncles, o.5-1 cm long. Receptacle conical. Involucral bracts 2-rowed, herbaceous, hairy with long woolly hairs; margins and apex broadly hyaline scarious. Outer ones obtuse. Inner ones acuminate. Palea linear concave-carinate; apex yellowish or golden yellow, entire. All florets tubular, golden yellow, hermaphrodite, marginal florets female, ligulate. Cypsela sticky-papillose, obconical, incurved, 4-angled, 10-ribbed; ribs specially of the peripheral ones tuberculate; pappus short, coronate.
