General Appearance

Suaeda palaestina Eig & Zohary, it is a subshrub, with smaller leaves (4-) 5-10 (-12) x 1-2 mm, sessile and acutish at apex, mostly arcuate or ± up curved. Flowers hermaphrodite, solitary, axillary. Bracteoles very small, lanceolate, scarious. Perianth c. 2 mm, with (4-) 5, ovate-oblong, narrowly while margined segments; stigmas (2-) 3. Seeds vertical, beaked, glossy.
