General Appearance

Dysphania botrys (L.) Mosyakin & Clemants / Homotypic Synonyms: Chenopodium botrys L., it is an annual herb up to 14-65 cm. Stem: glandular. Leaf: blade 3-65 mm, ovate to elliptic, wavy to pinnately lobed, lobes acute to obtuse, densely short-stalked-glandular abaxially. Inflorescence: arching; clusters in axillary or terminal panicles. Flower: short-pedicelled; calyx lobes distinct, weakly enclosing fruit, ± flat, densely short-stalked-glandular. Fruit: ± 0.5 mm diam, margin generally acute; wall adherent to seed, white-blotchy, minutely papillate. Seed: horizontal, bumpy.
