General Appearance

Bassia indica (Wight) A.J.Scott / Homotypic Synonyms: Kochia indica Wight., it is an annual herb, up to 0.25 m high. Stems branched. Leaves alternate; blade narrowly ovate. Flowers: sessile in axils of leaf-like bracts; inflorescences spike-like; perianth winged, wings membranous, green, Seeds black.
